About Emily
Emily Chambers has a bachelors degree in English with a minor in editing from Brigham Young University.
She has worked as a copyeditor, acquisitions editor, publishing manager, and production manager at a traditional publishing house and then a hybrid press for a total of eight years, and now she is helping authors self publish their manuscripts.
Her specialty is in copyediting and text layout, but she also has copious experience in content editing, line editing, proofreading, and copy writing, across all genres—from YA fiction to cookbooks.
She founded MySelfPub.com because she wants to share her knowledge of the entire process of publishing with authors so they can focus on the most important part of publishing: content creation.
She is passionate about helping authors reach their publishing goals and advising them and giving them the tools and resources they need to get there.
She currently resides in Riverton, Utah, with her supportive husband, 4-year-old son, and cat (“Keats”).
